I came across this book by chance today. I’m not entirely sure why I checked out the ‘look inside’ function, which for a change was quite extensive and showed what the book was actually about, rather than useless stuff that doesn’t help your purchasing decision. I liked it so much that although I have done courses in plain English and don’t consider that it is something I need to brush up on, I bought it anyway. Now, I accept that is partly because I am addicted to books and partly because it was very reasonably priced; but I have no doubt that it will teach me something that I didn’t realise I needed to know. As I would hope for a book on this subject, it is very well written in a clear and easy to follow style. It addresses areas that are both useful and important for anyone who is setting out to write something, whether it be a website or a dissertation, and sets out a clear plan for how to approach a writing task. I have already bought other books in this series and I’m sure that it will be a useful addition to my reference library.
